Obama's Osawatomie Speech: Presenting the KING of the OWWIES!

Jai singh | 06:12 | | | | 1 Comment so far
Class warfare, presented on the public dime. Seems Barack Obama is reaching out to the Occupy Wall Street crowd, doesn't it? Who can deny that Barack Obama is anything but a class-warfare-indulging, community-organizing neo-Marxist looking to attract the soft, weak, compliant, expectant, fat, dumb and happy Americans who want things handed to them, and are willing to give up their freedoms to get on some form of Government dole?

This speech is an example of what we can expect from Barack Hussein Obama right up until November 2012, when hopefully he'll be kicked to the curb by real Americans. But know this: he's going to do whatever he can to attract the weak 'Americans' who expect to have things given to them. Buying votes, that's all Barack Obama and Democrats can do; he certainly can't run on his miserable record, can he?

Occupy Wall Street now wants to co-opt Christian and other religions

Jai singh | 18:50 | | | | Be the first to comment!
Now, the Occupy Wall Street crowd is attempting to seize Church property to 'occupy' (read: turn into the same stinking, dirty, drug-infested commune-like encampments that've been dislodged from Zuccotti Park and from other city's centers). Their appeal is to claim 'Jesus would OCCUPY'. Really? I think not.

Sorry, Owwies, but the Left has never been friendly to religions or to Christ. You, the Occupy Wall Street movement, represent the ideology of Marx and Lenin in sheep drag. Did you know that Lenin's pet term for his own crowd of Dirty Socialists was 'bolsheviki'? That means in Russian 'majority'; like the Owwie's '99%'. And it too was a lie.

Lenin's (and later, Stalin's) 'majority' '99%' bolsheviki killed millions in an effort to make Communism work. Guess what? It didn't, it won't, it can't, so stop trying to make it work. Especially in America.

I don't think Christ ever said to Rome (to Government) that it should feed the poor. He did command His people to feed the poor. But Government redistribution is not a Christian formulation.

You lazy neo-Marxists Owwies should be more concerned with cutting back Federal Government growth and regulations so's our American! free market system can rebound; then, if you've prepared yourselves correctly (spent your education dollars on learning things employers want to pay you to do, maybe some nice technical training and applied math skills instead of worthless your sophomoric 'humanities' and 'social justice' degrees) you can become worthwhile members of society, instead of being simpleton dregs begging for reparations and handouts in tent communes.

Your societal worth is little, and that's your fault, not ours.

Bank of America angers Occupy Wall Street protesters, and OWS' leftist supporters.

Jai singh | 18:46 | | | | Be the first to comment!
Thank you, Bank of America, for standing up to these dirty socialists.

This screenshot from a Bank of America advert that ran on the LA Times' website (found here at "Fishbowl LA", a left-wing blog (who would've guessed?) written for left-wingers living in Los Angeles (are there any people living there who aren't left-wingers? and if so, why are you staying? we'll send suitcases...) has caused much butt-hurt amongst the 'Occupy' cry babies and their media sympathizers, like this fellow who writes for Mediabistro.

The overpaid blogger, Matthew Fleischer...

Is it just us, or is Bank of America using America’s second most widely read newspaper website to not-so-subtly tell Occupy Wall Street and all who identify with the movement to go fuck themselves?

We get that the ad is attributing the quote to Richard Pink. But, come on. BOfA is going to pull that quote at the same time tens of thousands of Americans are camped out across the country protesting, among other things, the bank’s greed, too-big-too-fail status and political influence. Coincidence? We think not.

We here at Fishbowl LA would like to cordially tell the good people at BOfA to suck it, you hypocritical scum. You were bailed out to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars and you just dumped $73 billion more in toxic loans to U.S. taxpayers. You know nothing about hard work.

Why, yes, Matty, I think you've captured the essence of BOA's intent! These scrawny little shits hanging out in various 'Occupy'villes CAN go fuck themselves! And you, right along with 'em! Sideways with a swordfish!

I agree wholeheartedly with Richard Pink, and the Bank of America; it is a person's individual responsibility to succeed or not succeed; and certainly it is NOT our Government's responsibility to guarantee any person or persons cradle-to-grave welfare 'just because' they are citizens; nor is it our Government's responsibility to mandate equal outcomes for all of it's citizens, even if they do whine and throw temper tantrums. Such a framework for individual welfare was not built into our Republic's constitution, at least in it's original text; Democrats are busily re-writing that document just as quickly as their mealy-mouthed lawyers of the ACLU and their hand-picked and appointed left-wing judges can find ways to CHANGE the original intent to suit these who've become left-wing. Democrats, mostly.

Sorry, but the NEWFOUND Socialism ALL modern Democrats have embraced (the looting of the Treasury in order to buy votes from 'community organized' moochers, so as to stay in power) is anathema to REAL, ORIGINAL CONSTITUTIONAL American values. We cannot let this continue and hope to keep this Republic intact. One, we can't afford it; two, it's a moral train wreck.

The Occupy Wall Street protesters are absolutely the most spoiled 'poor people' in the world. Compare America's 'poor' to India's or Africa's poor; the disparity in their compared situations and incomes should shame these OWS protesters, if they could realize what being 'poor' really means to most people on this planet. Get out your iPhones, OWS punks, and tweet to some poor citizens in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where the average GDP per capita is $171 per year. Oh, wait, there's not anyone there taking your calls. Because there's no one there with toys like yours! Oh, isn't that $171 yearly per-capita income just about what your monthly iPhone data plan runs your mom and dad ?

If it's income equality these OWS protesters desire, well, outside the borders of this Republic are billions of people who would gladly swap places with any of them, in a heartbeat.

If any of these kids want to see some real pain, let them swap places for a while. Or, if they want a socialist nation, there's plenty already out there to choose from.

Who knows? Cuba and Venezuela might welcome them, if they've any real marketable skills to bring with them, that their socialist dictators might find useful.

Really though, I don't see as to how Cuba could put a Humanities grad ('Gender' or 'Ethnic' Studies) to work, at least not without building a special shovel just to fit the poor little bastard's bright pink palms.

A comment left to 'Laci the Dog', a guest poster on Mikeb302000's blog... UPDATED!

Jai singh | 05:54 | | | Be the first to comment!
...that might not get published. Because that little gal (no, really! she is known as 'Laci the Dog'!) hates my shorts.

It should be published, because it directly answers a post created by the Little Fuzzy One that is directly directed at me...

One commenter describes himself as a Randian Businessman: Does that mean he screams about government, yet is more than willing to take government handouts?

That, posted along with that same old tired video of Ayn Rand being, well, Ayn Rand, attacking religion. Which is fine. I'm not a slavish fan, but I do appreciate Ayn's good works and contributions to the fight against Dirty Socialisms (see the link in my response, below).

Here's my response to "She Who Chews on Master's Fuzzy Slippers". For the permanent record.

Oh! You must be referring to me.

I posted a response to a commenter, Dr. William Yelverton (a professor I've sparred with for years now) who also attempted to use the 'Rand Attack' against me.

Ayn Rand came to this nation from the Soviet Union. What she knew was Communism; what she railed and warned her readers against was the people who were sneakily bringing the thinking of Communists into this country (and into other nations) to gain ideological footholds. Socialism IS Communism; we are seeing it 'coming out' everywhere, most recently in places like Zuccotti Park (prior, in Detroit: a Democratic stronghold-city for decades now that is much worse off for it).

The normalization of Marxist ideology by the newly-gone-too-far-Left Democratic Party, and their recent pulling out of all stops: gaining acceptance amongst 'Community Organized' voters for their practice of offering Other People's Money taken from the Treasury exchange for votes keeping them in power, is Ideological Subversion, professionally speaking.

We just won't stand for it, you see. If you want that kind of nation, go to one that's already formed as such, and leave our little Republic alone.

I spotted this video at Ann Barnhardt's place t'other day; it seems appropriate right about now.

UPDATE 1
I g00gled 'Laci the Dog' to see if she has a Twitter account; turns out she is a British Subject. That's about right. We pulled away from them for a reason; remember? Brits are much further along to succumbing to dirty socialisms than we are. Plus, they have no 1st or 2nd Amendment rights to speak of.

A sad and dreary place, politically speaking. Let's not follow them into the murkiness...

UPDATE 2
An email straightens out my incorrect assumption that 'Laci the Dog' is a female British subject. WRONG! A male (ex-female?) British subject:

'Laci the Dog' is actually James Charles Michael Bannerman; a lawyer working at a tiny firm in Philthydelphia:
James Charles Michael Bannerman
Associate
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

I have had a very interesting legal career. After graduating from University of Maryland in 1990. I did a micro pupillage as a barrister with John Balladen, the Rumpole of the Western Circuit, while attending University of Exeter Law School in England where I received an LL.M. in European Legal Studies. I worked on criminal cases during this period at the 14 Southernhay West Chambers in Exeter. After Law School, I worked at S.G. Archibald in Brussels concentrating on international criminal law. Prior to joining Mr. Artur's office I worked for the Department of Justice in Washington, DC where I concentrated on firearms cases. My experience in Philadelphia has been hands on. At times, it's a bit rough and tumble because everyday I get up and fight with district attorneys and attempt to charm judges and juries.
A damned ambulance-chasing Philadelphia lawyer (or at least the parking-lot sweeper and coffee-fetcher who works for a lawyer there ).

Figures. You should've stayed in Exeter, JCMD, 'Laci the Dog'; you'd've made as fine a rumphole there as you do here, I'm sure of it. Plus, no evil GUNZ! to cause you such butt-hurt.

My apologies to hormonally-imbalanced females everywhere for mistaking this asshat as a 'female' (my mistake, for assuming 'Laci' as female-sounding thus female; but many mistaken souls assume that 'Lady GaGa' is wholly female and that one fools a lot of people); this guy just acts like a hormonally-imbalanced female who just ran out of hormone-replacement pills.

I won't be as nice to him, now that I've been straightened out.

MikeB302000 (Mike Bonomo) is, as we know, a United Nations employee and agent provocateur living in Rome whose blog is in place to circumvent the 2nd Amendment in this country. Likely he's paid to do so by the United Nations, since I caught him (and have evidence to prove it) blogging from his United Nations office in Rome.

Strangely enough, he seems like a nice guy, not as venomous and hormonally-challenged as are guest bloggers 'Laci the Dog' and 'Dog Gone', both of whom I had figured as females.

'Jade Gold', the other pustulant guest-blogger, is well-known as Guy Cabot. That one is not worth even acknowledging his existence. 'Laci the Dog' might be his mate.

Enough of speaking of this lousy bunch.

MikeB302000, I enjoyed your blog more before you brought in these far-Left assholes, really.

Look at who's showing up at Occupy Wall Street protests: Assange, Žižek, Michael Moore and... the ghost of Che Guevara

Jai singh | 06:40 | | | | Be the first to comment!
*Julian Assange, the Anonymous-powered Wikileaks sex criminal, in London Saturday. A known socialist and far-Left hater of Capitalism.

*Slavoj Žižek, radical Marxist and superstar of far-Left academia, railed at Zuccotti Park last Sunday.

*And we know Michael (Jabba the Filmmaker) Moore will show up at any event where there's potential for pushing socialism or devouring the entire contents of several food carts.

And, Socialist hero Che Guevara is haunting these events, even in tiny Las Cruces, New Mexico. Most  'Occupy' sorts who do sport images of Che have him with his characteristic unkept hair and crazy staring eyes. But I recall Che in a different way. Forty years ago last week, Che was propped up against a stone wall and executed.

That's what tends to happen to useful idiots when they become less than useful.

Let's hope that none of these 'Occupy' kids want to wind up like Che Guevara, or any leftist, for that matter. No matter how much the appeal, or what these far-Left professors entreat, Leftism Kills.

#OccupyWallStreet protesters mocked by Wall Street players, who term them NEOCOMS.

Jai singh | 19:43 | | | | Be the first to comment!
These motley protesters are mocked because they are the dirty in 'dirty socialists' and are neo-Communists who can't or won't work, and who, to a person, want to be granted rights to capital taken from people who do work; these incapable-of-rational-thougth drum-beaters and dopers desire what they don't deserve, what they haven't earned; but BECAUSE of Barack Hussein Obama's approaching-evil campaign of Alinsky-style 'class envy' and 'class warfare', led by the President of the United States from the Oval Office, think they are in the right and do deserve things taken from others and handed to them.

Check 'em out, these abject NEOCOMS...

The top comment on that YouTube site implores these midget-brained 'tards to 'go on strike'. To which I respond, How can these spoiled, maggot-infested vermin go 'on strike' when they don't work in the first place? Strike against whom? Are they ready to step across the line to anarchy, to strike against society? Have you enough mace, NYPD?

What these useless sacks of barely-human wastes of good protoplasm are, are parasites on the body of free enterprise; they truly are the dirtiest element of dirty socialists; they unknowingly champion Marx by spouting neo-Communists rants. Or who knows? they might even know, and still champion Marx.

These are of a different and less significant breed; much less than the much better people who wrought this Republic and brought it through two World Wars. These hardly even qualify as true Americans in the traditional sense, really. They have nothing in common with me, or anyone else who has a strong, independent, and freedom-loving work ethic.

F*ck them, and hard.

What an unfortunate name, 'Robby Mook', but deserved, since he is obviously a very dirty socialist of the worst sorts.

Emailed to me from the DCCC, crying for money to stop «gasp» eeevil Republicans from fixing the economy...
Serr -- We just got word that Karl Rove’s secret donor funded swift-boat group is dumping an additional $119,502 into misleading ads attacking Democrats.

We must keep pace. Check out Democratic Leader Pelosi’s message below and please consider making a contribution of $3 or more before the August 31st FEC deadline hits to hold Tea Party Republicans accountable for their reckless agenda. Your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar by House Democrats.

Thanks -- Robby

Friend --

Republicans have just launched a dishonest new TV ad campaign in multiple districts across the country attacking Democrats who are standing strong for Medicare and seniors. Reports say the GOP has spent over $500,000 on this ad campaign of misleading attacks so far.

Now, after weeks of avoiding constituents who are outraged with their votes to destroy Medicare while preserving tax cuts for billionaires and Big Oil, House Republicans are set to return to Washington in a matter of days.

We must raise $500,000 before the August 31st FEC (Federal Election Commission) deadline to show that grassroots Democrats are united and committed to holding Republicans accountable for their reckless Tea Party agenda.

Contribute $3 or more before the August 31st FEC deadline and your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a group of House Democrats.

We cannot let Republicans get away with selling out our seniors and the middle class. Stand with me today and help us win back our House Majority.

Thank you,

Nancy Pelosi
Democratic Leader

Oh, let me save myself from the trouble of replying to the Mookster's stupidish email...

F-you, 'Robby Mook', your entire Democratic Socialist Party, your moocher-baiting and your 'Community Organizing'. Now go get your free Pelosi lap-dance, and trouble me no more.

End Games

Jai singh | 08:48 | | | | | Be the first to comment!
I think what's easy enough to see is this huge, Sovereign-dinging massive mountain of debt we here in the U.S.A. owe to other nations; debt that this little Republic can no longer afford to continue to accrue (if you want to argue, debt we should never have allowed Democrats to create; Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare and other general welfare-for-votes schemes). A simple fact: the only way to contain this debt and stop a fiscal and physical collapse (if it's not already too late to stop it) would be the TEA Party's suggestion to Cut, Cap and Balance, and try to restore what we should never have abandoned: a Federal policy of fiscal sanity.

If you want to save this Republic, the TEA Party is the only way; eventually it must come to severe budget and program and agency cutting, capping the debt ceiling and balancing the Federal budget every year. Austerity programs may be necessary; in other flat-broke countries those sorts of austerity programs lead to riots and demonstrative outbursts. Here, such outbursts (likely to occur first in the Democratically-controlled overpopulation centers: NYC, LA, Chicago, Philadelphia &c.) will be more violent, deadly even. Unfortunately. From that violence could spring government tyranny, and from that tyranny...Katy bar the door.

We are in the end game of this. The next steps may well lead to an upheaval you'll wish you hadn't hoped for.

Failure to Pass the CCB Will Herald the End of Dirty Socialisms. Count On It.

Jai singh | 20:09 | | | | | Be the first to comment!
Cut, Cap and Balance vote FRIDAY, 7/22/11. Please call your Senators at 202-224-3121, and urge your friends to do the same.

So, Harry Reid couldn’t manage to pass a Senate budget (800-some days and counting) but trips all over himself to get the Cut, Cap and Balance vote moved up to tomorrow. Bill Wilson ‘splains things to these bastards, who have no real timely choice left but to pass CCB, because Judgment Day is fast approaching...

But if they vote to reject “Cut, Cap, and Balance,” resulting in a downgrade, members risk guaranteeing a future of more austerity, more pain, and more uncertainty for their own constituents. ...

It will tear our society apart. For, the effects of a credit downgrade will be even more far-reaching than just state and municipal debt markets. It will affect real interest rates, lead to inflation, and even higher unemployment. It risks everything from pension funds to mortgage-backed securities.

But it’s even worse than that. A downgrade will most likely crash markets all over the world, erasing trillions of dollars of wealth in the blink of an eye. And it will be on the head of every senator who voted against “Cut, Cap, and Balance” — not to mention Barack Obama, who has sworn to veto it.

A Democratic Party failure to appease S& (eat your)P’s might very well signal the beginning of the end of dirty socialisms. It’d then be a matter (for the survivors) of picking up the peases the morning(s) after.

Two-thirds of Americans favor passage of CCB. Is that enough to sway some of these Democratic Senators who once said they favored a Balanced Budget Amendment?

Hey, Congressperps! Got Spenditol ?

Cut, Cap and Balance vote FRIDAY. Please call your Senators at 202-224-3121, and urge your friends to do the same.

Representative Allen West (R, SlapADem) is a Good Man. Debbie Wasserman Shultz IS vile, and pernicious too.

Jai singh | 05:21 | | | | Be the first to comment!
From Flickr: Allen West's Photostream

“Anyone with an Obama 2012 bumper sticker, I recognize them as a threat to the gene pool.”
I like this guy!

Allen West's latest email update (all emphases mine)...

Greetings to our constituents, fellow Floridians, and all Americans, here we are for another weekly update. There is only one word that describes the past week: appalling.

It was appalling to hear the President of the United States truly threaten our nation’s senior citizens and Military Veterans/Retirees. Furthermore, the blatant lie that 80% of Americans want their taxes raised is beyond unconscionable.

I believe we are headed towards the ultimate ideological clash in America. There is a widening chasm which has developed between those who believe in principled fiscal policies and those desiring the socialist bureaucratic nanny-state. An unfortunate aspect to this is the complicity of a mainstream media which does not report facts, but rather ideological bias. This clash will determine the future and legacy of our Constitutional Republic.

I know who wins in the end, but it is going to be one heck of a fight.

This week the House GOP shall vote on a plan that will enable us to protect the full faith and credit of the United States but also tackle the long-term fiscal viability of our nation. The plan is summarized by the concept of “Cut, Cap, and Balance.” Our Congressional office issued a statement on Friday which explains the legislation, of which I am an original cosponsor - you can click here to view.

Neither I nor any other reasonable person wants to see the United States default on its debt interest payments and threaten a potential rise in our interest rates. I do not want to see my country devolve into the European situation played out in Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece, or Spain (PIIGS). However, now is the time to get our fiscal house in order by implementing spending control measures which will begin to turn around our economic ship of state.

We must have equitable and immediate spending cuts to our non-defense discretionary spending. We must cap federal government spending as per the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), currently near 25%, down between 18-20% putting it in line with revenues. And lastly, we must have a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution which will force us to prioritize and operate within our means, similar to American households and many state governments.

As for President Barack Obama, he has no such plan. He has never had a plan, just words, just speeches. His Budget for Fiscal Year 2012 failed 0-97 in the United States Senate. Speaking of the Senate, it has been over 800 days since the Senate, under Democrat control, has passed a budget.

President Obama has added some $4.5 trillion to our national debt in less than three years. President Obama has produced record deficits, the negative difference between revenues and spending, of $1.42 trillion, $1.29 trillion, and an estimated $1.65 trillion for each year since taking office.

The unemployment rate under President Obama is a problem of epic proportions, national (9.2%), black community (16.2%), and among veterans (approx 12%). This comes from someone who told us his almost trillion-dollar stimulus would keep unemployment in America under 8%. As well, the almost $2 trillion Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act has been a disaster, and the worst is yet to come.

This has nothing to do with race (unfortunately my colleague from Texas, Representative Sheila Jackson-Lee believes so), and it has everything to do with an economic vision which is anathema to our free market/free enterprise system...an economic vision which has failed at every turn.

And all we hear from the President is talk about “shared sacrifice,” “tax the rich,” and “increase revenues by tax hikes.” It was just December 2010 that President Obama and the Democrats extended the Bush era tax rates for two years…now less than a year later they are FLIP-FLOPPING!

The problem is, there is no confidence and certainty in the fiscal vision emanating from Washington D.C. and hence revenues and receipts are down. We are not setting the conditions or creating an environment for economic and job growth. For all of you, that is what has to change, and that is where I am committed to seeing change and not the empty rhetorical doublespeak of 2008.

I suppose the President forgot that 47% of wage earning households in America do not pay federal income taxes.

In the area of foreign policy, the United States has officially recognized the Libyan rebels as the “legitimate” government of Libya. Now, I am just a simple fella from down South, but I recall a previous Democrat President recognizing a bunch of undefined ideological zealots called the Taliban…and we all see how that ended up!

The voices of the American people who want sound fiscal, taxation, and regulatory policy need to be heard this week. I am issuing a “call to action” – let the White House, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid hear how you feel. Are there REALLY 80% of Americans who want higher taxes?

I must confess, when I see anyone with an Obama 2012 bumper sticker, I recognize them as a threat to the gene pool.

Steadfast and Loyal,

Allen

Without God, Humans are but Animals.

Typical sneer from a Lefty...
Original Americans? You mean the Cherokee, Aztec, Kumeyaay etc whom YOUR ancestors probably murdered and then stole their land from? Yes, more of these good "Christian" values.
If you're going to be a damned atheist who believes in evolution and all of that, then you'd better realize that you are but an animal, and subject to the social (as well as the biological) 'survival of the fittest' rule. We came, we saw, we conquered. We were better armed, more advanced technologically speaking, and we took what we wanted. That's the way things work in the animal world.

I 'invented' a new bumper sticker this weekend...(h/t Francis Bacon, inventor of the Scientific Method)

“Without God, Humans are but Animals.”

Francis Bacon...

"They that deny a God destroy man's nobility; for certainly man is of kin to the beasts in his body; and, if he be not of kin to God by his spirit, he is a base and ignoble creature.”

That's right, you atheist animals. We've but a thin veneer of civilization that separates us from the ravages of natural selection. Keep pressing the 'looter-moocher' LeftLibProgg demands until it all collapses, and you'll find things not so much to you liking, I'll warrant.

I read a comment at this news report yesterday that sent shivers...
Bring it. I’m praying for anarchy to reign. There’s ACLU members, leftwing “journalists”, Hollywood communists, and communist politicians that will likely suffer from lead poisoning.
Sheesh.

There's much angst and anger in this little Republic, it seems.

Atheists, you'd better hope good 'Christians' prevail, if - when the shit hits the fan. Otherwise, look to your selection qualifiers.

Encroaching Default

Jai singh | 05:49 | | | | | Be the first to comment!
August 2 2011 remains a potentially nassty turning point for this little Republic. On that date, we cannot pay both our creditors what's due to them and continue to pay out monies to government programs that many view as excessive and unconstitutional social welfare entitlements and, given the amount of disparaging ad hominem directed at Republicans who would speak of the obvious necessity of cutting them, ridiculously and cruelly partisan.

Yesterday, Barack Hussein Obama, after months and years spent vilifying the Republicans for daring to mention Social Security as an item that possibly can (and needs) be cut, put Social Security squarely on the table as a negotiating item that can (and needs) be cut.

So much for Democrats wailing that Republicans want to rush old people into their graves, after feeding them cat food and hiding their spectacles and medicines. There goes a few votes Obama and his Democratic cohorts were counting on, flying out the window.

I can smell a last-minute debt ceiling increase compromise in the works. We will, unfortunately, allow more deficit spending; but to offset, Democrats have lost an heinous weapon they deployed against anyone desirous of fiscal sanity. Never again can they say "Republicans and Republicans alone want to cut Social Security". That's a relief, really.

Now, we, Team Tea Party, should push for the Balanced Budget Amendment, the necessary tool to forever stop the Democrat's usage of the Treasury to buy votes for their far-left-drifting neo-Socialist Party.

Then, and only then, can we move forward to weathering this seemingly-forever-lasting national storm.

4 July 2011 finds Tea Partyers, Conservatives Fighting a Peaceful, Political 2nd American Revolution

Jai singh | 06:43 | | | | | Be the first to comment!
An essay in today's American Thinker puts our struggle against the enemy into perspective...

On Independence Day it is independence we celebrate. An arrogant government in London had treated us less as countrymen and more as subjects. The defining event came on January 29, 1774, when the great polymath Benjamin Franklin was ridiculed and humiliated before the Privy Council in London as he tried to reason with lesser men whose physical proximity to power meant more than Franklin's genius and goodwill. Geographical concentration of power kills freedom.   ...

State legislators must heed voters because they are so close to the voters and live not in state capitals but throughout the state. Members of the House of Representatives were supposed to be that popular check on federal abuse of citizens, but House members have about 750,000 constituents. They live in Washington; they build war chests; their staff works overtime to do favors for constituents. The net effect is that those federal politicians closest to the people can largely ignore the folks back home and heed the winds of Washington.
(Bold emphasis mine).

They live and work in Washington D.C., where we find the highest concentration of 'Liberals' (actually, today, they are better known as far-Left 'Progressives', or LeftLibProggs). Washington D.C. is crammed chock-full of the greatest concentration of these dirty socialists, the looters of the working producers in America, concentrated for to take money from the treasury and give it to moochers for their votes.

Our federal district is the practical home of almost everyone who is anyone in the federal government. It is dramatically more liberal than any state. While conservatives outnumber liberals in every state of the union, according to Gallup, only 18% of those in Washington are conservatives while 41% of Washingtonians are liberals. Survey USA reveals that in New York City, perhaps the heart of non-governmental liberalism, liberals outnumber conservatives by the relatively modest 25% to 20%. Our national capital is wildly farther to the left than anywhere else in the nation.

Perhaps we should force-move the seat of Federal power on occasion. Let the LeftLibProggs work out of Omaha for several years. Leave the monuments in Washington D.C., make the 'humans' in government work out of trailers in various State capitols in a rotation. The bastards would then truly reflect the will of all the 'people', not just the 'needy moocher people' crying the loudest for handouts in the great overpopulated city 'burgs.

Back to the essay...

Our nation has reached a pivotal point. Conservatives are fighting a peaceful, political Second American Revolution. Last November Republicans made huge gains in state governments. Rather than wait passively for the central hives of the left to form and then attack, bold Americans like Scott Walker and Chris Christie have waged a policy war against public employee unions. In state after state, Republicans holding fast to their principles are winning legislative battles and showing big labor to be a gluttonous and gutless foe. The nostalgic cries of big bosses ganging up on impoverished unions rings hollow in the ears of most Americans (ignore manufactured polling data to the contrary). Even worse, the NLRB is fighting to prevent Boeing for locating some production operations in more business-friendly South Carolina instead of Washington State. That is, quite simply, fascism.

Yes, it's a peaceful sort of 2nd American Revolution. Thankfully peaceful. And it'll stay that way. It had better stay that way, or the results will not be pleasant.

But the LeftLibProggs must be defeated, politically, for this Republic to survive.

The article goes on to enumerate several positive steps we're (Conservatives, Tea Partyers) are taking to protect and save this nation; we are attacking ObamaCare, we are fighting illegal immigration at the State levels ('Wesley Mouch', that secretive SuperProgg editor of the New York Times, today decries that the new anti-illegal laws in Georga, Alabama and South Carolina are 'outdoing' Arizona's SB1070 in putting pressure on illegal immigrants. 'Wesley', they can always go to New York City, right? With your caveat that they always vote 'Democratic', of course).

The next steps in fighting federal government overreach must be at the state level, strengthening the 10th Amendment so that the individual states regain the rights that the federal has usurped. A methodology to limit federal power, restoring that to the various States, is obviously necessary.

People do vote with their feets. Good people leave lefty shitholes like New York, Illinois, Massachusetts and California and move to states without confiscatory taxes and onerous policies, e.g. Tennessee and South Carolina. If you live in a Blue state, consider leaving.

It's a good thing when the Federal Government loses LeftLibProgg representatives, as happened when California did not get another Representative after the 2010 census (first time since it's formation). Blue states lost 6 reps; Red states gained 6.

Keep fighting the good fight, Conservatives, Tea Partyers. We must win this one.

ACORN stays staked; oh, and best you cash in your 401-Ks and buy gold.

Jai singh | 10:39 | | Be the first to comment!
Andrew Breitbart's first trophy, ACORN, won't rise from the dead, at least not by Supreme Court fiat...

WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court won't hear an appeal from ACORN, the activist group driven to ruin by scandal and financial woes, over being banned from getting federal funds.

The high court on Monday refused to review a federal court's decision to uphold Congress's ban on federal funds for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

Congress cut off ACORN's federal funding last year in response to allegations the group engaged in voter registration fraud and embezzlement and violated the tax-exempt status of some of its affiliates by engaging in partisan political activities.

"Free Money". I've harangued Democrats, moochers and dirty socialists for their usage of "Free Money", and warned of the consequences to this nation when the chickens come home to roost. Here's a remarkable post comment, authored by wretchard (h/t JHoward)...

The original Free Money came from the taxpayer and therefore could be wasted without personal consequences. Politicians became adept at bribing people with their own taxes. But then along came New Improved Free Money, which had the property of being derived from taxes in the future. By borrowing, governments essentially levied a tax on generations unborn, because they would have to pay for the principal plus interest at some point, if the accounts were ever settled. Better yet, there soon arose New Improved Free Money Mega which derived entirely from confidence, by generating chains of transactions on financial instruments which could never be globally settled if called in all at once. It was a supertax consisting of an assumed risk placed surreptitiously on the taxpayers, both future and present, and it grew without many of them ever being aware of it.

From the viewpoint of the politicians it was a marvelous money machine. It seemed truly inexhaustible. By some wizardy the financial system had created instruments the equivalent of bills of taxation that neither had to be approved by Congress nor gave the appearance of being such. The banks had become a source of future and imaginary money. From the viewpoint of the moneymen dealing in Free Money, both in Original, Improved and Mega became the most lucrative line of business.

Now the Free Moneyists and their suppliers of Free Money were actually embarked upon a monumental Ponzi Scheme, which the neither wing of the Party of the Incumbency had the will to derail. While the Republicans might suffer a few more qualms of conscience than the democrats and detect in their nostrils something of the smell of sulphur, the sophisticates assured them that it was alright. The qualms were soon forgotten. The party raged on, unabated, at least until 2008.

When that crisis came the governments plugged the gap with even more Free Money. There was a sigh of relief, but now only at the cost of revealing the heretofore confidential clause with Mephistopheles. What the politicians did not realize, but which the bankers knew all too well at some level of denial, was the money was never truly “Free”. Ultimately it depended on a reasonable expectation that it could be settled. That tenuous link to reality was the hidden secret of the party. Ultimately Free Money was disseverable from the real economy, which means that sooner or later the chips will be called in. The devil would come at midnight; if promised more Free Money interest he might come later, but come he would.

To put it simply, more is owed than can be paid. On the day it all crashes, every holder of Free Money is going to have to take cents on the dollar. There will be asset writedowns, pay cuts, pension reductions, etc as the claims are paid out on its ruins. That the bankruptcy will be declared seems to me now very probable.

After that collapse, anything you have written on paper somewhere will be useless. That's your banked savings, white papers, stocks, 401-K's, everything. What's the real solution to this not-so-improbable collapse?

wretchard asks The Question...

In the end when it goes down, there will be a lot of people holding uncashable Free Money checks: entitlement expectations, housing vouchers, pensions, union wages that will be as worthless as the Confederate dollar. There will be a wailing and gnashing of teeth, and not a few leaps from 40 storey windows. Then when the bodies have been hosed off the sidewalk we will be back to Real Money, more or less. The basic challenge to the individual is how many Real Dollars he’ll walk away with after the smoke clears.

...that is already answered...

“Hyper-inflation is only another word for total default. The only way to avoid it is a government default on its debts only. Then we can switch from a worthless fiat currency to an asset-backed currency.” I smiled. “Gold brings freedom.”

Au, Ag, Pb. Have plenty of each, near to hand.

Oh, and to you dirty socialists - moochers, and your looter enablers who've made political hash of this nation and it's future, in your never-ending quest for a nirvana created of free monies and unicorn farts?

TANSTAAFL, bitches. That's a hard lesson you've yet to learn.

Democrats: "GET YOUR FREE STUFF HERE! (just remember to vote for us, so it keeps coming)".

Jai singh | 06:03 | | | | Be the first to comment!
There is no politician anywhere who should be allowed to 'skate' to a re-election, be it a Tea Party candidate, a Republican or (especially) a Democrat.

The new Democratic party has an edge, however. They are now the party who offers 'free ones' (Other People's Money) to their 'clientele' (moochers) for votes. It's difficult for any person of low self-confidence to overcome the lure of free monies, especially now when the leader of the new Neo-Socialist Democratic Party is a skilled 'Community Organizer' who can swoon voters with vacuous, meaningless words like "HOPE" and "CHANGE".

Any politician who's been in office is susceptible to the lure of the Office and the pleasantries of the Beltway. So, to keep each one of 'em honest and staunch, keep the fires lit under their backsides. Especially those who are desirous of re-election.

As for Democrats? Is there any hope left for that now Far-Left neo-Socialist Party?

Mob-rule would have everything given out for free. Democrats want to promise just that; in a climate of limitless wealth, they could afford to offer their desired nirvana where everyone is exactly alike, with 'equal outcomes' for everybody. Is there limitless wealth? How long can the printing presses run? Are we Broke? Yes, we are.

Democrats are now promising their voters 'free stuff' in exchange for their votes. Our Great Debate today is to whether we should allow Democrats to get away with this tactic; if our Republic fails due to the overwhelming debt we are incurring, the answer will be plain to all, but it'll come too late. How much 'giveaway to the Poor and Needy' is enough? There must be a 'happy medium' between what we give to those who 'want' and really do 'need; allow for those who really 'need' to get some (temporary) help, and, most importantly, separate the politicians from their ability to suck the Treasury for limitless monies with which to buy votes.

Here's some thoughtful reading, for those with the necessary intellectual stamina (h/t Darleen Click)...
My answer is that one way to describe the difference between liberals and conservatives is that liberals want government spending to be the independent variable that determines tax levels, and conservatives want government spending to be the dependent variable determined by taxes.

...

I’m a conservative because I think it’s democratically healthy to confront the hard question about taxes first and directly, and then let our answer to that question determine the budget perimeter for our welfare state. It is democratically unhealthy to proceed the way liberals have habitually dealt with the problem, by promising generous programs that will “pay for themselves” or even “pay for themselves many times over,” and only later, after people have come to expect and depend on the stream of government benefits, fess up about the taxes required to sustain them.
Please, don't be susceptible to the lure of free stuff promised by a Democratic politician for your votes! TANSTAAFL (There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch).

Best for the Republic to Vote Conservative, and keep the fires lit under their asses, or they will CHANGE over time.

Barack Obama's Failure: an ongoing "Horror Show" for the US Economy, whilst BHO golfs.

Jai singh | 06:26 | | | | Be the first to comment!
Just now, Osama bin Laden's death isn't seeming so very important, is it?

Horror for US Economy as Data Falls off Cliff

The last month has been a horror show for the U.S. economy, with economic data falling off a cliff, according to Mike Riddell, a fund manager at M&G Investments in London.

"It seems that almost every bit of data about the health of the US economy has disappointed expectations recently," said Riddell, in a note sent to CNBC on Wednesday.

"US house prices have fallen by more than 5 percent year on year, pending home sales have collapsed and existing home sales disappointed, the trend of improving jobless claims has arrested, first quarter GDP wasn’t revised upwards by the 0.4 percent forecast, durables goods orders shrank, manufacturing surveys from Philadelphia Fed, Richmond Fed and Chicago Fed were all very disappointing."

"And that’s just in the last week and a bit," said Riddell.

Pointing to the dramatic turnaround in the Citigroup "Economic Surprise Index" for the United States, Riddell said the tumble in a matter of months to negative from positive is almost as bad as the situation before the collapse of Lehman Brothers in 2008.

"The correlation between the economic surprise index and Treasury yields is very close, so the lesson is that whatever your long term macro views are regarding hyper inflation vs. deflation or the risk of the US defaulting, the reality is that if you want to have a view about government bond prices, the best thing you can do is look at the economic data to see what’s actually going on," said Riddell.

"And right now, the economic data is suggesting that however measly you may think a 3 percent yield is on a 10-year Treasury, the yield should probably be a fair bit lower given what’s going on in the US economy," said Riddell.
Barack Obama was against raising the Debt Ceiling when he was a Junior US Senator from Illinois. Now, as a Junior US President from Community Organizerville, he's for raising the Debt Ceiling.

How much longer before we start hearing AUSTERITY MEASURES FOR THE UNITED STATES I wonder? How's about NOW? Starting with the US Government's spending, across the board.

Reign in the spending, Baracky. You must be a big boy now.

Here's what I do for far-Left Lobsterpot Bimbos who put my comments in moderation.

Jai singh | 09:53 | | Be the first to comment!
I post the comment here. See how that works?

This guy, posting at "Under the Lobsterpot Bimbo Scope" and linked by that United Nations anti-gun loon Mikeb302000 (the little fellow who is actually a UN employee, living in Rome, working as an agent provocateur for that anti-American anti-Israel anti-Gun organization) posts a rant about AGW and 'creationism', and Conservatives in Louisiana who are telling all these left-leaning fucks to shut up, sit down and stop trying to cram their beliefs down other people's throats.

Here's the comment...

I could allow myself to be angry at the audacity of far-left neo-Marxists (like yourself) for trying to enforce their personal beliefs in man-made Global Warming, and for conflating the origins and purposes of life with the study of the mechanics of the theory of evolution over all other studies, and for pushing that same far-left ideology without even wanting to allow any other thought or research (the SCIENCE is SETTLED!).

Evolution is a proven, measurable fact, on a small scale. Evolution does NOT, nor can it ever, explain the origin of life, the spark that set in motion the rest of the process that allows us to thrive on a planet so well-situated in orbit that the triple-point of water can occur naturally. Just a little further out or in this orbit, and no carbon-based life on this planet. Nice of one to think of us, eh?

And, the millions of years of oil-pool formation, prior to humans actually becoming smart enough to use it. Nice placement, no?

Explain the evolutionary necessity of caterpillars moving into a pupal stage, then to butterflies. There's no need for it; how does that happen randomly? And, cicadas. Go outside and listen to the sound of the failure of evolutionary theory to explain what you're hearing.

And you have a soul, whether you want to accept it or not. Your soul is a piece of something else; whether that be a God that's written of in human hand or not, your quest was to know that and use it for good.

So, little man, know this: you've no right to be angry at anyone but yourself, because you've no control over anyone but yourself. Certainly not of me.

Oh, and the moving camels blow goats. FWIW.

The 'moving camels' being the backdrop of his website, and frankly, unsettling, annoying, and of little redeeming use or value.

I prefer horses, really.

EXCLUSIVE! BARACK OBAMA VISITS EGYPT! *

UPDATE

He posted my comment. AND got rid of the camels (imagine these, filling the page). Now he's on moving pizzas. Hmmmm...that reminds...

Geithner, that Obama-Sock-Puppet we have as U.S. Treasury Secretary, cries for more (Tax) money.

Jai singh | 06:28 | | | | | Be the first to comment!
No. No more money, children. Get by with what you have, and no more. Do NOT raise the debt limit in August, or at any other time. Cut the hell out of programs, or face consequences that will make the Great Depression seem like a picnic in the park.

Raising taxes to support a "looter-moocher" neo-Socialist ideology-driven political party is no way to run a sustainable economy. Democrats have tacked way, way far-left; they've discovered how to attract as many moocher votes as possible, by offering Other People's Money taken from the Treasury to buy votes and Party support. Giving Democrats more money is not a correct response to what must be the task of reforming the entitlement system Democrats supercharged with LBJ's inaptly-named "Great Society" program. LBJ created an underclass of perpetual moochers who game the system. "Community Organizing" these capitalism-haters was a masterstroke of genius; but to keep this Republic intact, we MUST reverse this phenomenon, or we will wind up on the ash-heap of history, along with the rest of the nations eaten up with the cancer of socialism.

New York Times editor 'Wesley Mouch' blasts State's Rights, and hammers all opposition to Washington D.C.

Jai singh | 05:48 | | Be the first to comment!
A nice editorial, 'Wesley Mouch'.

Your tone is one of pro-socialism and pro-debt; you've expressed your personal opposition to any State or political party that dares to question Mr. Obama's FEDERAL AUTHORITY!.

You've managed to poo-pooh those quaint, archaic principles like 'State's rights' and 'small government'; and I understand your barely-controlled disdain for that old document, the once-proud and ultimate law of the land, the U.S. Constitution. That shopworn rag is obviously not of any use or value in today's more nuanced caretaker-of-all-citizens society; it should be re-written so that there is only ONE State, and that State must be beholden to Washington D.C. as the only one source of power and governance over this land of the Fat, Dumb and Happy Proletariat that our Government exists to protect and nurture.

The next great Divide between the States can't happen soon enough. We really do need a 'reset' button for this declining nation; perhaps it's being crafted in China, out of filaments of our massive debt, strung together into a proper rope which our leaders are eagerly placing around our collective necks.

Maybe the next version of a 'representative republic', perhaps coming many years after a painful path of rebuilding, will include stronger clamps on the over-sized and overwrought central-planning style of Government that we're seeing unfold today.

And, finally, we might discover just how to keep elected looters from any political party from exhausting the Treasury for the purposes of buying votes from moochers, just so these elected looters can keep their party in political power.

Canadian elections bring Conservatives to power, with pure-dirty-socialist New Democrats nipping at their heels.

Jai singh | 06:41 | | | | Be the first to comment!
Of course, Canada's liberal leaders couldn't trot out a dead terrorist to use as voter-bait, as ours undoubtedly will. Ours will also have the siren call of 'free' goods and services', sure to attract the moochers who will vote their own self-interest over national interests and future prosperity. That's why they are termed 'socialists'; it's all about their welfare, the present-day  me-first individuals are at the top of their thoughts; the grandkids who will have to be responsible for their debts will just have to suffer. This "ME!" generation of American Social Democrats, launched in the '60's with the hippie movement and LBJ's 'Great Society' programs and now fully 'matured' (if that word applies to ANY socialist?) are undermining our nation's future, one dirty socialist vote at a time.

Canada is now pretty much split between the fiscally-responsible Conservatives, led by Stephen Harper, who won this new and exciting majority government for the first time since 1988, vs. the far-left socialist New Democratic Party (NDP) (note how that name seems to fit OUR United States' Democratic party? the party of moochers and looters and Social Democrats?) which won (for the first time ever) more than 100 seats. The big loser was the 'middle', the Liberals; we witnessed the "collapse of the Canadian Liberal Party". Just not socialistic enough for many far-Left Canadians; much like our own  Classic Liberals had to flee from the Democrats, seeking shelter in Libertarian and Conservative - Tea Party re-alignments here in the United States.

So we see a deepening divide, even in a traditionally left-leaning nation, with grown-ups taking over and squalling brats to the left demanding more free lunches. Maybe the grown-ups will save the day.

We need to address the Democratic Party's far-left drift to socialism. Many elements that make up that party are not even pretending anymore. The lowest class of people are those who will vote their own self-interest over that of the nation and the nation's future, that's exactly what the far-Left brings to the table, what they seek to  'organize' for 'CHANGE!'; an attack on capitalism for neo-socialism. Worse, those who will vote for or against a person based solely on a candidate's race, religion or sex; you who vote that minor factor are not even thinking when you cast a vote. You know who you are, and your thoughtless vote is a danger to  and undermines our electoral process.

A shame some candidates are elected 'just because' they can give a good speech and 'community organize' large segments of a population for to secure Party-line votes based on a promise of 'I'll take care of you, just vote for me, we'll take what we want from the evil RICH! and give to the needy! To each according to their needs; from each according to their means, and if you vote for me, your needs will be met!"

Damn, that sounds familiar, doesn't it?
