TEA Party Nation: "Call For A Strike of American Small Businesses Against The Movement for Global Socialism"

Resolved that: The Obama administration and the Democrat-controlled Senate, in alliance with a global Progressive socialist movement, have participated in what appears to be a globalist socialist agenda of redistribution of wealth, and the waging of class warfare against our constitutional republic's heritage of individual rights, free market capitalism, and indeed our Constitution itself, with the ultimate goal of collapsing the U.S. economy and globalizing us into socialism.

Resolved that: President Obama has seized what amount to dictatorial powers to bypass our Congress, and that because the Congress is controlled by a Progressive socialist Senate that will not impeach one of their kind, they have allowed this and yielded what are rightfully congressional powers to this new dictator.

Resolved that: By their agenda and actions, those in our government who swore oaths to protect and defend our Constitution have committed treason against the United States.

Resolved that: The current administration and Democrat majority in the Senate, in conjunction with Progressive socialists from all around the country, especially those from Hollywood and the left leaning news media ( Indeed, most of the news media. ) have worked in unison to advance an anti-business, an anti-free market, and an anti-capitalist ( anti-individual rights and property ownership ) agenda.

Resolved that: These same factions expect that, by carrying out a radical anti-business agenda, which includes the passage and inflicting of Obama"Care" on our nation, class warfare and redistribution of wealth, and expanding the government, while killing businesses in this country with an environment hostile to business, including excessive regulations ( the average business must now spend about $11,700 per year per employee to comply with government regulations! ), and by borrowing and wasting more money than has been spent in the entire previous existence of our republic, that they will "create jobs", when in fact all they have "created" have been government jobs that consume wealth, and don't "create" it.

Resolved that: Our President, the Democrats-Socialists, most of the media, and most of those from Hollywood, have now encouraged and supported "Occupy" demonstrations in our streets, which are now being perpetrated across the globe, and which are being populated by various marxists, socialists and even communists, and are protesting against business, private property ownership and capitalism, something I thought I'd never see in my country, in my lifetime.

I, an American small business owner, part of the class that produces the vast majority of real, wealth producing jobs in this country, hereby resolve that I will not hire a single person until this war against business and my country is stopped.

I hereby declare that my job creation potential is now ceased.

TEA Party vs. OCCUPY WALL STREET OWS

Much has been said about the differences between the TEA Party and the whiny OWS sorts. There are the obvious and glaring differences in maturity levels of the respective participants: compare the number of arrests (700 in one night, at the Brooklyn Bridge); the cleanliness of the rallies (the TEA Party has never felt the need to 'occupy' someone else's park or beshit police cars); and especially note the driving desires behind the movements: OWS people spout ritualistic class envy and seem to bleed green with greed. These low-class emotions are perhaps spurred on by having a 'Community Organizer'-in-Chief whose permanent campaign seems to ooze class warfare. The TEA Party's principle desire is to salvage and reclaim that perfectly well-written and still-workable Constitution.

Another huge difference is that the TEA Party realizes that our Government, and both parties that make up the essence of it, are (for a lack of a better descriptor) corrupt. And, it's much too large, growing larger by the minute; the OWS kids would accelerate that growth rate even more (substitute blowup daddy figure?).

We of the TEA Party believe the Federal system of government needs to shrink back in size to more acceptable and Constitutional levels; the various States need to become more independent, with naturally differing localized polities. So that California and New York, if they want to be bastions of the far-Left, can be walked away from by individuals who don't want to be so far-Left, to states like Texas and other less 'progressive states' that can be easily identified as such. Voting with one's feet, as it were (which is happening: missing a few productive citizens, NYC?).

We don't need to be federally homogenized to Federal standards, at least not as much as we're becoming. I never want to be a New Yorker, for instance; nor a Californian. But if you do? fine; you can keep your desire to be and act as nice progressives right there in NY and CA. Shit your own bed, Los Angeles and New York and Detroit and Chicago and all the other overpopulated 'burgs that just happen to be Democratic and far-Left (and eat up with the OWS crowds).

But please, just don't try as hard to extend your LeftLibProgg - liberalism so far beyond your ruined State's borders, using the overwhelming powers of a vast, monstrous and corrupt Federal system.

Three Doors for Occupy Wall Street Protesters: Choose Wisely

Hey, Hey, you Occupy Wall Street peoples, there's already a grassroots movement ticking that wants essentially the same things you want, but we want to get there without taking the door the far-Left is pointing to.

Here's an open letter written to speak to these (seemingly stupid) kids (well, when you follow a bunch of provocateurs onto a bridge, smack dab into a police arrest, what else can you call 'em?) that explains the paths you have in front of you.

Door #1: Far-Left, the Road to Serfdom, to Communism (the path that Modern Democrats are taking;

Door #2: Anarchy (the 'Road Warrior' option); and

Door #3: The Fix or Rebuild our Republic' option (because the Left has so damaged the original Constitution, it might be necessary to rebuild it after they've been soundly defeated).

The entire establishment political class is corrupt. And it has declared open war against those Americans still left who believe in fiscal responsibility and a constitutional check on federal powers. Both the establishment Republicans and the Democrats (and their ancillary and parasitic attendants in the media and the inside-the-beltway political machinery) have shown themselves immediately willing to scapegoat the one anti-big government faction willing to insist on making the difficult choices necessary to save the country from the bloated, cynical, complacent pig class who presumes to run it in our name — though never in the way we wish. And that’s because party doesn’t really matter any longer, as I’ve been saying for years now.

Good people occupying Wall Street, and those beginning to Occupy other locations in other cities, do not let yourselves be tricked into throwing out one bunch of tyrants in favor of another, for the other is no less tyrannical than the first. Those of us in the Tea Party movement understand your frustration with the current state of affairs in our Nation's Capital. We will be the first to agree when it is said that the type and amount of influence special interests, including those perpetrated by big business is entirely out of hand and unacceptable. Be cautious, however in your acceptance of leadership who would simply use your movement to exert their own flavor of special interest in the halls of government, for they are the same beast in a different coat. ...

We are at a pivotal point in our evolution, and there are two or three courses we can take. One is down the road being followed by the progressive left toward communism and central planning. From each according to his ability, to each according to his need as Carl Marx put it. This sounds good on paper, it sounds very altruistic. The problem is that it fails to take human nature into account, and in the end, can only be imposed at the point of a gun. There will always be those who are a little more equal than others, and who will, to maintain their more equal-ness, oppress the rest.

The next possible course is Anarchy, complete chaos, and while this may have a certain swashbuckling appeal, I would urge the investigation of Somalia to see the results of that form of non-government. It is the best example we have in the world today. People are starving in the streets and the strongest among the people make the rules with violence and terror.

The third option, perhaps the most difficult, and the one requiring the most courage, it to repair or re-create our representative republic. That is the aim of the Tea Party. We submit that humans are basically good in their nature when guided in their spirit by a set of principals the most notable of which is, treat others as you would wish to be treated, and love your neighbor as yourself. We believe that all people are created equal and have the right to live free, own private property, be secure in their person, papers and property, have the right to defend themselves and the right to equal opportunity, have the right to fail miserably, and pick themselves up without being bailed out by taking from others. We believe in the right of all people to live as they wish, so long as their living does not infringe on the rights of others. We believe in the right of all people to worship as they choose wherever they choose, or to not worship at all if that is their choice. We believe in sound currency, free from manipulation. We believe in clean air, water, and a prosperous economy, and that these things are not mutually exclusive. We believe in the freedom of speech for everyone, not just the popular, and we believe in a free press. We believe in honesty and integrity and we believe emphatically that with these rights comes responsibility. We believe that with freedom comes the necessity to be responsible for one's own affairs. We believe in taking responsibility for our government as well, that only an informed and reasoned electorate can effectively govern themselves, therefore it is the duty of the citizenry to inform themselves, to discuss and debate among themselves, freely and civilly, the issues of the day.

We believe in caring for our elderly and our children. We believe in caring for those who, through no fault of their own, cannot care for themselves. We believe in the right of States to govern themselves, that local government is better and more responsive that state government, and state government is better and more responsive than Federal government, and the best government is that which governs least.

So I applaud your plumb, those of you who are gathered in the cause of freedom, but I caution you to beware of your bedfellows. I implore you to take a little time. Study our founding documents. Read the Declaration of Independence, Read the Constitution, Spend some time with the Federalist Papers. Read Bastiat's The Law. You might be surprised to find how much you have in common with those early patriots who threw the British East India Tea Company's tea into the Boston Harbor, because the Government had granted a big corporation a monopoly to sell tea in America.

While you work out your principals, and you are wise to do so, please remind yourselves why this country came into being. We have wandered far and wide from those principals for which our early citizens fought and died. Before we fight and die again in the cause of freedom, lets us take just a moment, spare a modicum of effort, and define for ourselves what we want that freedom to look like.

I can see the TEA Party joining the Occupy folk, but never if Unions and the far-Left manage to heist it in their favored direction; a direction that doesn't include our original founder's basic tenets, and freedoms that we've enjoyed.

If you choose to involve those sorts, as it seems some of you have, then Katy bar that first door, and we'll meet in the middle.

Obama's "I've Got a SCREAM!" 'Jobs' Speech

WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama's promise Thursday that everything in his jobs plan will be paid for rests on highly iffy propositions.

It will only be paid for if a committee he can't control does his bidding, if Congress puts that into law and if leaders in the future - the ones who will feel the fiscal pinch of his proposals - don't roll it back.

BHO's claims:

1)"Everything in this bill will be paid for. Everything." Not true at all...

Essentially, the jobs plan is an IOU from a president and lawmakers who may not even be in office down the road when the bills come due. Today's Congress cannot bind a later one for future spending. A future Congress could simply reverse it.

Currently, roughly all federal taxes and other revenues are consumed in spending on various federal benefit programs, including Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, veterans' benefits, food stamps, farm subsidies and other social-assistance programs and payments on the national debt. Pretty much everything else is done on credit with borrowed money.

So there is no guarantee that programs that clearly will increase annual deficits in the near term will be paid for in the long term.

In other words, everything is NOT paid for with current revenue. We'll have to beg, borrow or steal it from China, future generations or Taxed Enough Already US workers and businessmen and women...who, mind you, are expected to create jobs for this army of ever-increasingly hostile and leftward-tilting 'workers'. Why should we?

2)"Everything in here is the kind of proposal that's been supported by both Democrats and Republicans, including many who sit here tonight." Really, BHO?

Obama's proposed cut in the Social Security payroll tax does seem likely to garner significant GOP support. But Obama proposes paying for the plan in part with tax increases that have already generated stiff Republican opposition.

For instance, Obama makes a pitch anew to end Bush-era tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, which he has defined as couples earning over $250,000 a year or individuals over $200,000 a year. Republicans have adamantly blocked what they view as new taxes.

What about TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY do you not understand, Mr. Prezzidint ?

3)"It will not add to the deficit." Hardee-hardy-har-har! But of course it will add to the deficit. Anything you do adds to the deficit. You are a deficit-driving golfing machine, Mr. el Presidente!!

It's hard to see how the program would not raise the deficit over the next year or two because most of the envisioned spending cuts and tax increases are designed to come later rather than now, when they could jeopardize the fragile recovery. Deficits are calculated for individual years. The accumulation of years of deficit spending has produced a national debt headed toward $15 trillion. Perhaps Obama meant to say that, in the long run, his hoped-for programs would not further increase the national debt, not annual deficits.

How about both? He can't lift a little finger, it seems, without spending monies he doesn't have or deserve.

4)"The American Jobs Act answers the urgent need to create jobs right away." More importantly to you, it answers your need to get re-elected. And to give sop to the Unions, your 'army' of street thugs. Oh, and...

Not all of the president's major proposals are likely to yield quick job growth if adopted. One is to set up a national infrastructure bank to raise private capital for roads, rail, bridges, airports and waterways. Even supporters of such a bank doubt it could have much impact on jobs in the next two years because it takes time to set up. The idea is likely to run into opposition from some Republicans who say such a bank would give the federal government too much power. They'd rather divide money among existing state infrastructure banks.

That, and to ensure re-election, and to feed the goons. Gotta keep the goons happy.

I predict a strong TEA Party response to this, after it's dissected by good men and women in our elected Congress. I'll bet there will be much weeping, wailing and gnashing of teefs by the LeftLibProggs who might've heard BHO's line about cutting some 'sacred cow' social programs. Right on cue, from 'Wesley Mooch'...

Though the plan would be paid for by more deficit reduction, he left those vital details until later. It was gratifying to hear him call for higher taxes on corporations and the wealthy, but his warning of cuts to Medicare and Medicaid — lifelines to the most vulnerable — raised concerns about trading one important program for another.

There will be jobs created, Mr. Obama. Beginning after November 2012, after your defeat, things will start to improve.

Trust me on this.

Did Charles M. Blow just call Herman Cain a 'monkey' ?

He's at it again, the New York Times' favorite racialist, on a tear regarding the TEA Party.

Charles M. Blow, you and your cabal of LeftLibProggs have no right to discount the 20% of Americans who are TEA Partiers; how do you feel when you, part of the bed-wetting 20% of far-Left Liberal Progressives are marginalized with words? Most of the TEA Partiers are well-educated, older people who've seen this Republic in better times, and absolutely hate the way that the new neo-Marxist Progressive Left has taken over the Democratic Party and has all but driven the United States of America out of business and into default.

Over 40% of Americans don't pay a cent of income tax; some of those non-payers receive 'Earned Income Credits' for doing absolutely nothing. Where does this money come from? Why, from the "Taxed Enough Already" (TEA) folks who comprise the TEA Party. Why do you think that you, or your flock of moochers, deserve any more of monies you haven't earned? And if you do manage to get more, you'll simply want more; who is to pay for it?

There is no nirvana coming 'round in this Republic that you, you far-Left Liberal Progressives, can create to your satisfaction. You can't force working people to work for those who do not want to work. It's come to this: the failed socialisms introduced by FDR and LBJ will die in America, as these same social -isms have died or are dying every where else they've been implemented. Everyone who isn't equipped with partisan blinders realizes we're in the end game here; we are spiraling down to another civil disaster. We will fail; this Republic can't take what you Democrats demand. It's the transition to post-failure you'll find most troubling I'll warrant.

Oh, and before you start calling people 'monkeys', next time look around to see who is in your blast radius. There are good men and women who support the TEA Party; Herman Cain is one of them.

Meanwhile, where is the guy who's supposed to be leading this here Republic ?

The Republicans are willing to slow its growth occasionally — and they do believe in lower taxes; but as the Bush years should have taught us, they’re just as willing to spend as the Democrats, because giving gifts with other people’s money — and being praised for it — is the absolute easiest form of cheap grace on earth.

What we are witnessing is the ruling class vs. the governed — a fight we among the governed are only really taking up after the ruling class has already gobbled up the allegiance of a huge swath of its quarry by turning them into either clients or dependents (something that would likely never happen with, say, a flat or fair tax, incidentally, which is one of the reasons no serious push for one ever comes out of DC).

The TEA Party is an impediment, one that the professional political class needs to see weakened, if not entirely marginalized. And that’s because the TEA Party is threatening the mechanism of cheap grace, power, and perks these politicians live on.

The Tea Party isn't a party; there's no figurehead, there's no governing body. If Democrats and Republicans do try to 'take it out', it's never going anywhere at all; it's a Force that lives on in free men and women; diffuse, intangible, but always there and can never be fully destroyed. Give it your best shot, see what happens.
