Donald Trump can’t fire the man protesting his relationship with Macy’s, but the Apprentice star might have sights on suing him.
Trump attorney Alan Garten has sent a cease and desist letter to Angelo Carusone, organizer of the online campaign Dump Trump, and threatened to seek damages of “not less than” $25 million if the protest continues, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively. Carusone tells THR he plans to continue the protest and called the threat of legal action "bullying" on Trump's part.
In a letter dated Dec. 27, Garten charged Carusone with undertaking “malicious efforts” to interfere with Trump’s business relationships and spreading misinformation about the size and success of the protest.
“Rather than simply engage in lawful protest, you have apparently made it your mission to interfere with and intentionally disrupt Mr. Trump’s long-standing and well-established business relationship with Macy’s as well as his contractual dealings with other third parties through mob-like bullying and coercion,” reads the letter from Garten, executive vp and litigation counsel at The Trump Organization.
I'm not a huge Donald Trump fan (see here and here) but I'm less a fan of radical leftists.

Angelo Carusone is the same hateful leftist radical behind the StopBeck and StopRush character-assassination-and-silencing campaigns. He's an employee of "Media Matters for America" who was just recently promoted to VP. Birds of a hateful, un-American, authoritarian control-freak feather, MMFA and Carusone.Let's see Angelo learn exactly what is a 'slap suit'. Trump might be nearing bankruptcy (again) but he has far deeper pockets than the likes of MMFA and Carusone, two who probably more fear hearing from the IRS than from Trump's lawyers.
MMFA is a far-Left, MoveOn.org-Soros-funded 'non-profit' that keeps it's non-profit tax-exempt status only if it remains non-partisan. That's a joke! You can't get any farther left and more partisan than MMFA unless you're bedding Kim Jong-un!
It's about time Carusone and MMFA faced some real questions and challenges. Perhaps Donald Trump could ask the IRS to re-examine MMFA's tax exempt status, in light of their promoting a far-Left astroturf activist hit man to VP? Why shouldn't MMFA pay taxes? They've taken in millions in donations from rich liberals!
These attacks need go both ways. FOR THE FAIRNESS! Get 'em, The Donald!
'Non-Partisan' my ass, MMFA. Get thee (and Carusone) to the People's Republic of China, where your control-freak STOPitall! desires would be welcomed and approved by your controllers. Just as they are here and now, by Barack Obama and his One-Party apparatchiks who funnel you monies to keep your STOP! attack machines running.
