This, posted by Zombie at PJM (but actually taken by photojournalist El Marco) isn't exactly what Zombie describes as a "Kent State Moment" or even a "Dorothea Lange Moment", sorry Zombie. This photo is, however, a great descriptor of why these Owwies won't get hired anytime soon.

And, it's a good example of why there’ll never be a ‘Jobs Fair’ held at any OWS encampment.

The lucky Owwie kids who manage to get arrested? That’ll look great on their employment background checks. Why would any ‘evil’ corporation hire anyone arrested for bashing corporations and threatening revolution?

At least the ’60′s dirty hippies had a good reason to march. These ‘Occupy Everything’ dirty socialists only want things they haven’t earned and don’t deserve.

Also: a mother of four children, missing from her Florida home, is arrested and carted away screaming from the middle of a New York City street, whilst 'Occupying Pavement'.

This movement is a zombie attractant, really.

Herman Cain and Gloria Cain, the Official Photo

This was passed out by 'Friends of Herman Cain'.

There on the lefty politics and photo analysis blog where I found this, where there are also lefties remarking that Mrs. Cain looks like she's being 'swallowed' and 'overly protected', I did my own bit of analysis, and noted...

The door, slightly ajar, with the evil eye of Sauron (sorry, the Media) peering in.

That would be the same Media eye that didn't even try to properly vet Mr. Obama, yet this time it's struggling to search for and sour anything it's gaze touches.

As a comparison, I also spotted this photo of M'Chelle Obama, purportedly showing some kids in New Orleans how to exercise. To me, it seems she's saying...

"ALL RIGHT YOU LITTLE BASTARDS, WHICH ONE OF YOU TOOK MY FRENCH FRIES?
RAISE YOUR HANDS OR I'LL EAT EVERY LAST DAMNED ONE OF YOU~!"

Harrumph.

99%-ers' Paradoxical Dream-States

This photo (spotted here) intrigues me.

Lots of dichotomy; the healthy and well-fed '99%-er' with the protest sign looks askance at the unhealthy homeless individual sleeping on a bench. What could be running through her mind? Does she look at this person, and see herself, maybe just a matter of time until she asks him to scoot over?

Is Wall Street at fault for the plights we see (and she envisions) here?

I wonder if she has a flat-screen TV, a cell phones, a Lexus, a warm bed.

Seems just a bit unfair to me, that she would be protesting her possible future fate (whatever that fate is or she imagines it will soon be) while glancing at a man whose fate seems sealed.

I'm more interested in what he's dreaming than what she's emoting, no matter what reasons for protesting Wall Street she gives.

(Note the drain pipe point at the head of the sleeping man. He's been pissed on before, I'll warrant.)

(Oh, and what the hell is that other kid doing bent over backwards on that concrete abutment? That's a stretch I'd not like to make.)

Our genius president has done it again. In a group photo of national leaders at the Open Government Partnership event at the United Nations, President Ego decided to wave at the camera, blocking the face of the man standing next to him, so it is not possible to identify him.

Ordinarily, I would suspect this is a photshopped image. But it comes to us via Obamaphillic MSNBC, and is credited to Allan Tannenbaum-Pool / Getty Images.

It's photos like these that are not in Barack Obama's best interest to see published, New York Times.

Photo Study: James Richard Verone, a Lifelong Democrat, I'll bet.

I've got wild staring eyes
I've got a strong urge to fly
But I've got nowhere to fly to

This guy, James Richard Verone, robbed a bank so he could go to jail to get health care. Not a large sum robbery; just a dollar, but with intent to defraud North Carolina out of potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars in health care.

LeftLibProggs frame this as a failure of our society to provide equal outcomes. I frame this as a simple man who's made a lifetime of poor choices, culminating in the poorest choice of all: opting in to jail, to get 'free' benefits. Go to jail for free; screw the taxpayers.

The idiot LeftLibProgg linked above decries that Government hasn't taken enough monies from the 'EVIL RICH' to make this gentleman whole, sound and his life one of equal outcome.

The second link, to Bag News Notes, isn't as simple-minded; but the guy does claim that Verone isn't making a political statement. Wrong. Yahoo! News...

"Verone also presented the view that if the United States had a health-care system which offered people more government support, he wouldn't have had to make the choice he did."

and

"He said he's hoping to receive back and foot surgery, and get the protrusion on his chest treated. Then he plans to spend a few years in jail, before getting out in time to collect Social Security and move to the beach."

So, we see someone here, James Richard Verone, who is so-far gone in his expectations of a nanny-state government that his plans for the rest of his life are to defraud the state of North Carolina for health care, then 'retire' to the beach on his Social Security. Made worse by a couple of lefty sites that want to use the guy as exemplar of our failed society.

It's failed only if he gets away with this.

Seems that James Richard Verone has been a lifelong Democrat to me, and now is a poster boy for the dirty socialists. Wild and crazy-eyed

Wouldn't his mother be proud of him.
