Osama bin Laden killed by the Seal Team's HK416

I read somewhere earlier that there was a nationwide run on a pistol, a Sig-Sauer P226, because word was it was the weapon used to bring down Osama. That turns out to be untrue (as I figured it was; there's no way a properly-equipped team is advancing with drawn pistols, considered as backup weapons for the most part).

Here's the story; here's the weapon.

Note that this is a the civilian - police SWAT version; the Seal Team 6 weapon didn't look exactly like this; probably finished in desert camo (see an example at this link). The externally-mounted gear was probably Generation 3 Nightvision, not the bright SureFire light attached to that officer's rail. Likely a red or green laser was attached as well.

From Heckler & Koch...
HK416

The HK416 (5.56 mm) was developed by Heckler & Koch for U.S. special operations forces as a major product improvement of M4/M16-type carbines and rifles. Using the HK-proprietary gas piston system found on the G36, the HK416 does not introduce propellant gases and carbon fouling back into the weapon’s interior, making it the most reliable of any M4/M16 type weapon.
Now all we need is photographic evidence so we can convince the world that OBL is really dead.

After all, who can believe BHO, really?
