A note of passing

Ric Locke...
This is Ric’s son, James. I am sorry to confirm the information already provided by ‘avidreader’… Dad passed away on Tuesday July 24th, 2012 at 1336hrs local time. His memorial service will be right here in Mineral Wells Texas.

If you would like to attend, please leave a message and a point of contact for me here so I can give you the information.

I wanted to give time to get the word out because, quite simply, Dad has friends from all over the planet, from all walks of life, and I wanted to give what time I could for any and all to come to the service.

Regards,
James
A Good Man; a solid, wise thinker and commenter.

He will be missed, as are all who pass the temporary duty of the corporeal world and...resume doing whatever is out there needs doing, and who knows what that might be? Infinity is a long time and space; there's enough room and time for anything to begin anew, or recur, or rekindle, or relive. One SF writer (can't remember which one) wrote that there's enough worlds in the infinite universe for every single person who ever lived to have his own private heaven or hell, and still have room for more, over and over again. Being infinity, Infinity could spawn any number of star systems; one might coalesce from a cloud of dust, circling worlds form, life evolves in the same manner as Earth's system, and every structural detail be the same as this current world's. Over and over again, because infinity is just that big.

Let's just say we could all meet again, and more than once, and Infinity not tire of it one little bit.
