Well. That was fast, Mr. President! Just off the heels of your big surprise!, ISIS ISIL IS ISLAM takes over half the Middle East whilst you slept. Here we find you yet again asleep at the wheel.

But the ISIS failure was to be expected; Democrats always screw up foreign policy. That's a given.

But failure to contain EBOLA? Allowing an incurable disease to be all Coming to America? How could you fall asleep at the wheel yet again? Are you the most incompetent President the USA has ever suffered?

Just two weeks ago, Mr. Obama, you spake thusly:

We’ve been taking the necessary precautions, including working with countries in West Africa to increase screening at airports so that someone with the virus doesn’t get on a plane for the United States.

In the unlikely event that someone with Ebola does reach our shores, we’ve taken new measures so that we’re prepared here at home. We’re working to help flight crews identify people who are sick, and more labs across our country now have the capacity to quickly test for the virus. We’re working with hospitals to make sure that they are prepared, and to ensure that our doctors, our nurses and our medical staff are trained, are ready, and are able to deal with a possible case safely.

Lots of words, zero deeds to back 'em up.

We elected a 'Community Organizer' speech-maker, a little man with a big mouth who can drizzle words out faster than an Ebola patient's diarrhea stream; words that melt the brains of his uneducated rabble. But put those words to deeds? He just can't do it.

News of Dr. Pianka's views broke when scientist and author Forrest Mims published a March 31 article in The Citizen Scientist. In that article Mims said, "I watched in amazement as a few hundred members of the Texas Academy of Science rose to their feet and gave a standing ovation to a speech that enthusiastically advocated the elimination of 90 percent of Earth's population by airborne Ebola."

On March 31, Dr. Pianka spoke to students and parents at St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. "A University of Texas professor says the Earth would be better off with 90 percent of the human population dead," ...

"Every one of you who gets to survive has to bury nine"

That's not President Obama. It's more liken to Al Gore and his merry band of environmentalist radicals, the "Climate Change" crowd, who are to the very last one misanthropes, who think we would be better off if only someone or something would cull back the human race.

If Dr. Pianka, Al Gore, and other environmental radicals could get their way; and if Ebola mutates to spread by air, then a cull is likely a done deal.

And I'd not be surprised to see these groups of 'Mother Earth First' radicals doing their best to keep Ebola alive, and if they could, they'd certainly help Ebola mutate to airborne.

Truth being, these Liberal Fascists are anything but random citizens: they are a well-organized group of paid MMFA staffers who hate that Rush Limbaugh is so effective at speaking against their far-Left causes. So, right after little Angelo Carusone ran his @StopBeck character out of gas, he created and sat on @StopRush. Then along came the Sandra Fluke incident, wherein the politically-groomed Georgetown lawyer 'student' was termed a slut by Rush on-air, causing enough backlash that MMFA - Angelo Carusone launched his #StopRush character assassination campaign on Twitter.

The timing is critical to understand: Carusone was already an employee of Media Matters for America.  He had run the @StopBeck campaign, that forced FOX news to sideline Glenn Beck.

MMFA is a Leftist money-recycling operation that uses a 501(c)(3) tax exemption to take tax-free monies donated by wealthy Democrats (and piles of cash from George Soros), then funnels that "dark money" out to all sorts of subversive radical groups like Carusone's Stop Rush. This is how otherwise pretend-to-be-above-board Democrats get away with paying for political hacks to do their dirty deeds, in this iteration, funding spam - harassment attacks on businesses that advertise on Rush's show.

Media Matters liked Angelo Carusone so much, they promoted him to Executive Vice President at first opportunity. Angelo was the only tool they had that made a surface scratch on Rush Limbaugh: a weasel-faced little douchenozzle with no other marketable talents.

Not much of a scratch. Rush Limbaugh is obviously still around, annoying the hell out of these far-Leftists (and injuring some of the GOP elitists who deserve infamy as well...later, I promise!).

After two years of failing to Stop Rush, this little core group of paid ankle-biting MMFA grubs had to be getting tired, worn-out and frazzled. Every day they had to get up, feed the cats, run their Twitter and Facebook sock puppets, re-tweet every co-conspirator's tweets, mindful that they must keep their multiple accounts running smoothly without overlap so's Twitter wouldn't notice any overt sock puppetry (HA! as if Twitter cares! Twitter aided and abetted #StopRush right from the start. After all, Twitter Management is sympathetic to what MMFA represents: Left-Wing polity, of the Republic-destroying kind).

Then, just this week, the DCCC took Rush's words regarding the flap over the NFL's women-beating, mangled them in a puppy blender, and came out with a supposed 'quote' that even some upright Democrats (there's very few of those!) found despicable. But the DCCC ran with it anyway, sending out letters for fundraising based on the so-called 'quote' that was a lie. Stop Rush was ecstatic; they ramped up their operation to coincide with DCCC's fundraising.

 That's when Rush dropped the hammer...

September 23, 2014- The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s newest email spam, asking their recipients to sign a petition calling for sponsors to end their relationship with The Rush Limbaugh Show, is based on the two-year-old Stop Rush political protest as it’s inspiration. After an investigation, The Rush Limbaugh Show has discovered a far darker story to Stop Rush, and is today releasing the hidden story of the people and motives behind the Stop Rush conspiracy.

The Stop Rush group claims to be made up of ordinary consumers unhappy with Rush Limbaugh’s comments. The group claims to be “grassroots,” just concerned consumers who won’t shop at businesses that advertise with Rush Limbaugh. In truth, however, there are no potential customers here, just a small number of hardcore political activists founded by Angelo Carusone, EVP of Media Matters for America.

It’s remarkably tiny. Only 10 Twitter users account for almost 70% of all StopRush tweets to advertisers, amplified by illicit software. In addition, almost every communication from a StopRush activist originates from outside the State of the advertiser. Thus, these activists are not and never would have been customers… their only role is to harass small businesses in an attempt to interfere with their operations, as long as they are advertising with Rush.

“A small number of politically motivated out of-state activists are distributing target lists indiscriminately, and annoying small businesses until they give up the advertising deals that help them grow, or risk being unable to conduct business at all. It’s not even activism… it’s blackmail,” according to Brian Glicklich, Rush Limbaugh Show spokesperson.

How does this small group make themselves look so much bigger than they actually are? Stop Rush has deployed custom automated tweeting software, in violation of Twitter’s rules, that lets their activists send tweets at a rate far faster than any unassisted person could do manually. They send barrages of thousands of messages through this software until advertisers are bullied and harassed into cancellation.

These activists have long operated in secret and anonymously. But now, The Rush Limbaugh Show has the results of an investigation that names the people tweeting, facebooking, and emailing small businesses with harassing and bullying messages over and over until they surrender. These names are surprising, and include a tenured professor at Kent State University using her official email account to badger advertisers.

Thad Cochran, the GOP - RNC, and Losing More Slowly

Thad Cochran represents exactly what's wrong the GOP - RNC: they are an elitist thug-group, willing members of the Ruling Class, who seek only their own reinstatement to power regardless of what the majority of Republicans want.

What we grass-roots Republicans WANT is CHANGE from being shoved farther-Left every cycle. We've been pushed steadily Leftwards for the last 40 years.

The only coalesced group of Americans who are demanding a CHANGE in direction, and offer solid push-back against Leftists of all stripes, are those despised by both the mainstream RNC - GOP and the Democrats, the so-called TEA Party.

These RNC - GOP Ruling Class elitists will settle for "Losing More Slowly", that is, allowing these fundamentally-lost (and I'm willing to term them un-American, given their stature in comparison to Americans past) Democrats to win by giving in to "Pragmatic" agreements that ratchet the Center ever Leftwards.

Then, leaving no time to weigh consequences, the Democrats come back with their practiced full-on tantrums (see: Barack Obama's ongoing Clown Show since his election), demanding even more movement Leftwards.

The Ruling Class RNC - GOP seems always willing to pragmatically give more ground, every time they're faced with a boisterous, loudmouthed, dedicated group of shouting Leftists. Without a group equally charged opposing these rabid dogs, we can't stop our Republic's Center from eroding. There's no pendulum left to swing back, to CHANGE direction, because the current RNC - GOP leadership isn't strong enough; and worse, they've adopted the habits of the Democrats. Having already 'arrived' in power and perks, the GOP - RNC leadership lacks desire to put in the effort it will take to CHANGE, or even strongly oppose, our Republic's fatal shift to Leftism.

It's past time we abandon this current lineup of GOP - RNC Ruling Class elitists. We can't stop this Republic from failing due to unsustainable fiscal policies and raunchy social squalor unless we STOP the GOP's willingness to allow this steady "Losing More Slowly" ratcheting-to-Left that we, the meek GOP VoteCash Cows are expected to unquestioningly fund with our votes and donations.

ABANDON the GOP. There's no other way to stem our slide, now that the GOP - RNC pulls stunts like they did in the Mississippi Senate runoff, reinstating the senile, tottering old RINO Thad Cochran by showing how easy they too can play the Democrats' games when the need arises.

2. How did you locate and evaluate the fitness of their sponsors?
3. What medical screenings were the children given prior to their release in Tennessee?
4. What is the official immigration status of these children and their sponsors?
5. In what localities are these children now residing?
6. What are the legal requirements concerning the provision of services for these children while they are in the state?
7. What additional information is available on these children, such as age and health status?
8. How long will these children be in Tennessee?

Tennessee is a diverse and welcoming state, and we also understand that this is a complicated issue. However, an influx of unaccompanied immigrant children to the state, with little information being made available to the public or to state leaders, creates confusion and could be very problematic. The start of school is approaching for many districts across the state, and the federal government’s actions have caused great uncertainty around this issue.

So, I left a comment, calling him / her out on it's anti-Semitism. I pointed out the problems with any one human thinking, because of skin color or nationality, that s/he is any better than another human configured to look differently. Because both humans are but decanters of souls. Passed out at conception, btw.

The comment I left was hung in moderation. I know better than to just walk away, leaving my poor comment all stretched out for none to see, so I took a screenshot of the comment I responded to, and of my comment, responding.

“Dastardly pings! Curses, foiled again!”

Everyone else is speculating as to the fate of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. Might as well get my two-cents-worth in. This is assembled from my comments to a post on pw. These remarks assume you've followed the story closely.

One variant of a scenario geoffb linked above might explain the lack of passenger participation (using their cell phones or other devices to attempt to establish post-takeover communications). If induced gradual oxygen deprivation via non-explosive cabin depressurization was employed by one or more hijackers who had oxygen masks, then all the passengers would be conveniently dead soonest. Re-establishing cabin pressurization would allow the hijacker(s) to collect and destroy communication-capable devices.

That variant would also explain the rambling flight patterns between the checkpoints: the pilot furiously searching passengers and their carry-ons for devices.

(The pilot - hijacker(s) disabled the aircraft's telemetry equipment, then diverted it well out of it's intended path; likely to prevent any tracking, or the finding the wreckage and thereby have the good guys working to solve the mystery: whodunnit? Who gets bombed to glass this time?)

But they missed disabling the data pings from the engines or other on-board sources. Perhaps they weren’t aware they even pinged.

My best guess is that the hijacker(s) learned much from the Lockerbie failure.

The Pan Am Flight 103 Lockerbie explosion was intended to take place over the ocean, making wreckage recovery and subsequent identification of the responsible party impossible; but instead, it happened over Scotland. That led to the subsequent bombing of Gaddafi's Libya, and the killing of his daughter. So, lesson learned, that wasn't going to happen again.

If the scenario I postulated above happened, after all devices were rendered inoperable, the jet's fuel near-exhausted, the plane was then pointed straight down and accelerated to eleven. That would account for the the 40,000-foot drop in less than a minute, as was reported by the engines.

Reuters, citing unidentified sources familiar with the investigation, reported that whoever was piloting the vanished jet was following navigational waypoints that would have taken the plane over the Andaman Islands.

The radar data don't show the plane over the Andaman Islands, but only on a known route that would take it there, Reuters cited its sources as saying.

If the hijacker(s) intended to escape the Pan Am Flight 103 - Lockerbie scenario, they would put the plane out of reach of searchers. Deep and forgotten.

Eugene Robinson's triumphalism over "12 Years a Slave"

Eugene, people knew already that the United States had this problem 'growing up', and that slavery was an intolerable condition that existed when this nation was founded. During the Civil War, there was considerable blood shed banishing slavery from the USA. Not since that war have Americans shed as much blood for any cause, as was shed for the banishing of slavery. Most of that blood was spilled by whites.

Today, we still have that scar - no, a barely-healed scab. And the picking at it by the Democratic Party's official 'race hustlers' (who, granted, need some way to make a living) doesn't promote a true healing process. Your glowing sense of triumphalism over this film's "uncomfortable truth" and your hope that scholars can dig up even more award-winning historic moments to endlessly parade in our collective faces does nothing but dig at that ugly scab, and serves but to further divide this Republic, at a time when that dividing is increasingly dangerous.

Should we, as a nation, forget about slavery? No. Should we gouge open these scabbed-over wounds forever, going forward, when doing so might perhaps cause yet more bloodshed, for whatever end result you imagine (but fail to even begin to elucidate) is better than simply letting time heal us all?

In these increasingly divisive times, when many people see our nation again rending along racial and political lines (somehow those lines are kept neatly parallel, if not perfectly conjoined), and again perhaps headed towards another, even more deadly Civil War, these scab-diggings you are trumpeting as good and proper are not at all helpful.

Gator's Dockside and Democratic Party Butt-Hurt

Most businesses will simply pass along the cost of ACA - ObamaCare to their customers without pointing out why yet another sudden price increase happened. Pointing out up front that this cost inflation was caused in response to new unfunded mandates and regulations imposed by Big Government (specifically, by the Democratic Party) is a good thing. I applaud Gator's Dockside Inc. for their forthrightness, and for causing a bit of butt-hurt to Democrats.

If more companies do the same thing, there will be more consumers aware of how the odious battering ram known as ACA - ObamaCare causes across-the-board cost increases to all businesses, therefore putting inflationary pressures on our economy, and that these cost increases will be passed along to every consumer.

Not to mention that all of these new costs are coming right at the worst time possible: when our economy, already reeling from a recession that Mr. Obama cannot seem to help end, is further bludgeoned by his and his Party's decision to cram more nonessential and not-Constitutionally-mandated government regulations and their associated costs down everyone's throats.

Democrats, especially you far-Left "progressives" who now run the once-proud Democratic Party, never do consider the lack of sustainability that will ultimately deny you your Nirvana; the seeking of some heaven-on-earth degree of sustenance and nurturing that fuels your political desires and gives you votes from the unthinking masses that you 'Community Organize' with the lure of 'free' goods and services paid for by Someone Else.

If - no, when - this economy does collapse, you certainly will be held responsible for it, and here's hoping you'll find some nice hole to crawl into, for to hide your miserable faces.

Those pesky Climate Change Deniers? Why, you ask?

Let's just say for kicks and giggles that the Earth's climate is irrevocably warming; then go a great leap further and allow that it's because we humans have burned fossil fuels that've been in locked storage for millions of years (thanks, unknown benefactors!). We are warming up nicely, over time.

Then comes along, just in time to take advantage of this sudden and rather helpful climate change, the denizens of the far-Left. That same order of leftists and Marxists who's ideological beliefs have spawned the worst mass-murderers in human history; men who, when allowed to gain control of nations and fates, have killed more millions of humans than any other ideologically-driven killers in our brief but bloody history (yes, that would be Josef Stalin and Mao Tse-Tung: both leftists, Marxists).

So, after some meek and studious scientists figure out that we, using ever-advancing technology and enjoying increasingly comfortable lifestyles that have lofted our human race to pinnacles never before seen or imagined, are causing Global Planetary Warming.

Next thing we see is that these same brilliant scientists allow a failed, far-Left, head-swollen, non-scientist politician, the venerable Al Gore, to front their work to an incredulous world.

And, somehow, these brilliant scientists blissfully expected everyone to quieten to a hush and listen to sad-sack, failed, far-Left politician Al Gore and his cabin-boy crew of fellow traveler far-Leftists and enviro-mental nut cases, then meekly turn over control of the destiny of Planet Earth and every living human's future to them? Seriously?

Al Gore and his disciples, both the enviro-whackos and a smaller, more-pale group of culti-religio- 'scientists', are barely-checked misanthropes who would all be tickled pink to see a third to a half (or more) of Earth's human population die (or be killed) off, so as to chill their planet.

Listen closely! you can just hear them muttering.. 'Our planet's severe overpopulation of retched humans is the root cause of this befouling Climate Change; their incessant breeding and burning is what's causing our Mother Earth's fever, and so! they must be dealt with! And the sooner, the better!'

Yes, I think it'd be a grand idea to give over control of our destiny to a group of far-Left control freaks who not-so-subtly hate the human race; and who, if given control, would spawn a New World Order of murderous science-dictators to fix all the planet's problems, toot suite.

Fiscal Conservatives, heads up: Why Democrats Hate Christians

Throughout human history, traditionally the first place a person would go for help, sustenance, safety and shelter was with one's family and close community, not Government. Family always came first, then community. Faith-based churches were the bedrock of early communities.

Churches and religion are under assault by the Left, by today's Democrats. Just look around you.

Today's new Democrats prefer and endorse Atheism, because atheists are more easily amenable to State controls. Faith-based churches are (were) made up of groups of people not giving first allegiance to State, but to God; that route to sustenance and safety must be denied and replaced, as Statists progressively move FORWARD.

Our newly far-Democrats (Leftists, Statists, Progressives) assault faith-based religions and churches, and most especially target and hate Christian churches, so as to break up these communities in order to make more people seek State for sustenance.

Without faith in God, without churches and communities, State becomes by default the atheists' and society's first and only source for safety and sustenance.

"Without souls, without God, humans are but animals."

We are all now seen as animals, viewed by these Government-first Statists as needing their Animal Husbandry.

We are needing STATE to provide the things most people would turn to family and faith to provide.

So, fiscal Conservatives, the next time you hear Democrats assaulting faith and religion, doesn't matter if you yourself are agnostic or atheist; know this: their intent is to become our only God.

You should, no matter what belief or lack thereof you personally have, oppose the assault on other people's faiths and religions. Because without people having recourse to churches and faith-based communities, there is only ONE provider left: Big State, Big Government.

RE: Woody Allen

IF Woody Allen is telling the truth (seemingly he is professionally corroborated) THEN Mia Farrow is the real monster here.

IF NOT, then Woody Allen is not worth the air he's breathing.

I do not like Woody Allen. He's the antithesis of a strong, rugged man; he's an exemplar Beta Male, a textbook Metrosexual; a whiny Leftist. He doesn't get any passes from me because he's an award-winning actor, producer, whatever he's done that I consider unwatchable.

What really turned me off from considering his body of work was his affair, then marriage, to Soon-Yi. That was a despicable, morally reprehensible thing to do.

That affair lends credence to Dylan Farrow's tale.

But if this is a case of Mia Farrow playing the role of psycho divorcee (and there's plenty of those to go around), and molding Dylan Farrow over these years with hateful manipulations, then Woody Allen gets a smidgeon of sympathy from me.

But like a grain of salt on an industrial floor scale, my smidgeon of sympathy barely registers.

There was a Creation vs. Evolution Science Debate a few nights ago, featuring a fellow named Ham, a young-Earth Creationist, versus a scientist, Nye. I missed the thing, but I'm a scientific sort who realizes the young-Earth Creationist viewpoint is hands-down absurd.

I'm not an atheist either; I believe that humans have souls, and that our souls are not always locked into our from-dust-to-dust, temporarily alive carcasses. There is purpose to our lives, if we can discover it.

Because I'm not an atheist doesn't mean that any particular religion, especially a religion that a group of humans 'run' for fun or profit or control, is right or wrong, or for me. But as a group, religions generally serve a purpose: religious beliefs tend to make people better, more moral humans, and attune them to their own souls, and in many cases help them find their purpose.

So, there was this Creationism vs. Science Evolution debate folly, with two hardened skeptics of each sect trading conjectures. That's a Small Picture, folks.

Look past the Creationism vs. Science debate, at the bigger picture.

Democrats encourage atheism. Atheism is an unspoken but important Democratic Party plank.

As yourself why leftists generally, and especially our 'new' far-left Democrats, prefer people to be atheists? Why do Democrats seek to push religion out, to deny God in public places; to, every chance they get, lash out and mock citizens who profess a faith?

Because leftists always desire to fill the void created when humans who have no religious belief or God in their heads seek guidance. Leftists rush to fill that void with their own 'teachings', to fill the empty Godhead with their own machinations.

Humans who believe they've no souls are easily controlled by those who wield 'official' power; by the Cult of Government. And our new, far-left Democrats always desire to control more and more of every little thing people do, by government dictum.

Without souls, humans are but animals. Leftist Democrats realize this, and so seek to push religion and God out of the way, so as to create a nation of atheists. With religion and God banished to the sidelines, dismissed as folly, Democrats inject in that void their own cult of faith, their own 'religion', Big Government.

Let's be honest: a Big Government controlling a population is but 'Animal Husbandry'.

Democrats, and most Republicans running the elitist wing of the GOP, seek ever-bigger Government because they desire to CONTROL citizens. Every time one looks at the flood of new laws passed every year, at what new benefits or entitlements are proffered by Government, you see the animal husbandry in action.

People without faith, who have found no purpose, have no God or faith or religion, are groomed to move along in placid acceptance of the government's dole of laws and sustenance. These humans are witlessly controlled by the tools of government and industry. In which they have Faith.

Keep those food bowls filled, Democrats, Republicans. Keep the soulless human sheeple you've created and prefer moving along. There's lots of shearing needs be done.
